Alyssa wants a new life and is tired of the rules of her uncle. When she finds out about magic she gets stuck on the fuji island. Before she can go home she needs to beat some strange evil creatures and a wizard. Nothing is going her way though and its making things hard.
This was a good book. I think that it would be a great book for tweens to read. It would be good for both girls and boys.
It is pretty easy read. Although I did not really like all the over explanation. I felt that there was to much talking about what everyone was going to do and things like that. Still a fun read.
